Wednesday Slide Conference

The WSC is held at the AFIP on Wednesdays for 25 weeks each year from September through May. Each conference presents four unknown cases of classic or newly discovered diseases or entities.

Veterinary Systemic Pathology Online

This project embodies the core veterinary systemic pathology training curriculum at AFIP. This database currently contains 775 cases. Every year, approximately one-third of the cases will be updated and new cases added as appropriate.

The Residency Program

How you can join.

U.S. Army Veterinary Corps officers are competitively selected by the Long Term Health Education Training Board. Once selected, they begin an exciting, fast-paced, three-year training program designed to prepare residents for the American College of Veterinary Pathologists. Opportunities to conduct and support research in infectious disease, chemical defense, internal medicine, diagnostic pathology, and toxicology await those with the ambition and dedication to train and attain board certification.
